This site has been designed as a resource for potential Guard members to gather information before making the decision to join our ranks as a proud American Soldier. We also provide a wealth of information for enlisted soldiers, as well. With benefits of up to a $20,000 enlistment bonus, paid healthcare/dental/vision, and paid college tuition, the Army National Guard is a wise choice for today's dedicated, patriotic men and women who have that burning desire to serve their country.

National Guard Vision: To "provide for the common defense"…of the nation, the National Guard Bureau provides the leadership and resources required to set the standard for the world’s premier reserve force, the National Guard of the United States. Our destiny is to respond to current and future worldwide commitments of the National Security Strategy with community-based, dedicated, citizen-soldiers and airmen; well-trained, organized, and supported with state of the art technology and equipment.

National Guard Mission: To acquire, manage, and distribute Army and Air National Guard resources; to develop and administer policies and programs in support of the National Security Strategy; to act as the "Channel of Communications" between the Services and the National Guard of the States, Territories and the District of Columbia as well as other internal and external agencies for the successful accomplishment of CONUS and OCONUS missions.

You have to ask yourself, "Am I cut out for the Army National Guard?" If you live your life by these values, then the answer to that question is "YES":

  • Loyalty
  • Duty
  • Respect
  • Selfless Service
  • Honor
  • Integrity
  • Personal Courage

These happen to be the Army Core Values, and every American soldier lives by these values. From Basic Training to throughout their military career, these values are engrained into the lives of every American soldier. It's what sets us apart from others.
