Money in the Army National Guard
Money

When you enlist with the Army National Guard, you receive top-notch training that will prepare you for a solid career and won't have to start at entry-level. You may also receive an enlistment bonus and may qualify for loan repayment, retirement benefits, or 100% tuition assistance. Your part-time commitment can fund your full-time education.

Skip over the minimum wage jobs and jump right into a career where you are paid well for your skills. The Army National Guard provides its soldiers with many benefits, including programs that help pay for a college education, enlistment bonuses, retirement pay and more.

Funding and savings

Money, Money, Money! Enlistment bonuses up to $20,000! And that's just for signing up! As an Army National Guard member, on top of the funding you may receive from the Guard itself, you may also be eligible for various state benefits such as scholarships toward state colleges and universities. Many states offer retirement plans, improved medical benefits, and legal assistance.
