Becoming an Electronics Specialist with Transferable Skills This school's motto: "Armament for Peace." Missile, communication and air traffic control systems require highly trained specialists to keep them working during peacetime and on the battlefield. Munitions require specialized handling, storage and accountability beyond the average supply actions. In addition, the disposal of hazardous devices to protect our forces requires special skills. The skills you'll learn will focus on munitions management, explosive ordnance disposal, electronic and missile maintenance, along with test, measurement and diagnostic equipment arenas. Depending on your Army job, you will learn the skills needed to repair complex electromechanical equipment, use electronic test equipment, perform specialized handling of munitions or make hazardous devices safe.
